The House wih Bamboo was created for an existing lot in East Vancouver.  The home is designed to be in context with neighbourhood homes typical in this area.  References to homes in the area include: covered verandahs, sharply sloping roof, bay windows, wood trim boards.  Exterior cladding is cedar siding.
