Cove Cliff (Creek)
Deep Cove, North Vancouver, BC (under construction 2009 - 2010) A small meandering creek traverses the site of this home. The residence has been designed to respond to its intimate relationship with the creek and an adjacent park. Expressed curved glulam beams and logs form the structural supporting system.The home's sweeping roof and fir logs pay homage to the rainforest location. A central house post symbolically "anchors" the residence. The home is currently under construction and is being self built by its owner. |
