Chateau Ladina (Woodlands)
(2008-2009) This chateau style residence is located on a large wooded lot in South Surrey, BC. Expressed timber trusses, glulam beams and logs form the structural supporting system. A 30' high central douglas fir "house post" is a featured architectural and symbolic element - anchoring the home to the earth and acting as a mast to the sky. The residence was self built by the owners. |
