Family Housing (Cold & Snow)
Mayo, Yukon  Northern Canada  (2007)

These family homes are  designed to be in context with the local community vernacular, respond to an extreme cold climate, and at the same time provide a distinct identity complementing the unique forest setting.

Steep sloping roofs with main gables facing the access road are a dominant architectural feature.
